Hello Winter

Welcome
As Fall begins, I'm certainly not ready to say hello to winter, but I did have fun playing with the new stencils from
A Colorful Life Designs called;

So, here's what I did to create my card.
  • I placed the top part of the Circle Moon stencil onto a piece of white cardstock and inked it up with some Broken China Distress Oxide ink.
  • I lifted that stencil off and placed one of the snowflakes from the Stellar Snowflakes stencil over the inked background, then inked it up with some Prize Ribbon DOX ink.
  • I splattered the panel with my white Posca pen and set aside to dry.
  • I stamped the sentiment with some more of the Prize Ribbon DOX ink and die cut it out.
  • Using a circle die, I cut the middle of the snowflake out and I also cut another bigger circle using some dark navy cardstock.  I glued those together.
  • I glued my stenciled card front onto a piece of white cardstock, then onto a piece of navy and then onto a white A2 sized card base.
  • I used some foam tape to add the die cut back into place in the middle of the snowflake.
  • I popped the sentiment into the middle of the circle die cut to finish off my card.

Here is the stencils I used:
