Good Morning
Today's card is all ready for Fall and features the new for September stencil from A Colorful Life Designs called:
So, here's what I did to create my card.
- I began by getting out my Gel Plate and I pressed my Mustard Seed and Ripe Persimmon Distress Oxide ink pads directly onto the plate. I used my brayer to blend the colours and placed the Filigree Leaf stencil onto the plate.
- Next, I rubbed over the plate with a scrap piece of paper, then took the stencil off and rubbed over it with my white cardstock to pull up the print.
- When it was dry, I put the stencil back into place over the print and inked with some Ripe Persimmon, Lumberjack Plaid and some Rustic Wilderness DOX ink, filling in the open areas left behind when I took the print from the Gel Plate.
- I removed the stencil and splattered with my white Posca pen.
- I stamped and die cut the sentiment on some white cardstock.
- I glued my card front panel onto a piece of white cardstock, then red and then onto an A2 sized card base.
- The final step was to add the sentiment using some foam tape over the middle of the leaf.
