Listen to the Music

Today's monochrome card features the new for March stencil from A Colorful Life Designs called

So here's what I did to create my card.
  • I got out a piece of linen paper, it has texture and gives a bit of a mottled look when inking. I used the MUSIC stencil and inked it with some Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink across the top part of my white card base.
  • Next, I placed the piece into my Misti to stamp the flowers and all the details around the edges of my card using Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide ink.  I also stamped the sentiment in the open area above the flowers.
  • I used the ink left on my blending brush and added more colour just across the middle of my card front to add more interest and take down the stark white.
  • I glued the piece onto white cardstock, then a pale mauve  and then onto a white A2 sized card base.
