Birthday Flowers

What a fun card this new for May stencil from a Colorful Life Designs made.
So meet the newly released stencil called:

Here's what I did to create my card.
  • I placed the Flower Rays stencil over a piece of white cardstock and inked some of the flowers with some Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink.  Next, I inked some with Ripe Persimmon and some Broken China DOX ink.
  • Leaving the stencil in place, I used a fine line black marker to trace around the outlines in the stencil to help define the flowers.
  • Next, using the end of a pencil eraser, I added the dots in the same colours as the flowers.
  • I stamped the sentiment in my Misti with some black ink and then die cut it into a circle.
  • I glued my stenciled card front onto a piece of white cardstock, then onto a piece of pink and then onto a white A2 sized card base.
  • I used some foam tape to pop the sentiment up over the background.

Here is the stencil I used:
FLOWER RAYS
