Burst of Colour

Morning.  It's been such a busy week I just haven't had time to stamp at all.
The challenge at Splitcoast this am was to create a watercolour background so I just had to play along.  Here's what I did to created my card.

First, I inked the stamp from Local King (I think it is shattered glass) with Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder.  Next, I sprinkled Bister (a paint medium) all over the embossing and sprayed with a generous amount of water.  Love the burst of colours that appeared.
When that was all dry, I cut a curve then stamped the sentiment and mounted the painted piece with pop dots.

Adding my card to these challenges:

  10. As far as I'm concerned, you have taken Bister to a whole new level! This is a fabulous card...I do love that shattered glass effect. I played with Bister a while back and then bought some Brusho, too. I need to take the time to play with both again.
