Morning.
Are you up for another blue card....more Brushos?
The challenge this a.m. at Splitcoast was to make a card using one of your favourite tools. I have to say that one of my fav tools is my Mini Mister. I use it for most cards to spray water onto my stamps or backgrounds to help blend the colours.
I began by stamping my Penny Black stamp called Circular Design with Versamark ink then heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Then I sprinkled on Brushos and sprayed with water. The embossing acts like a resist and I love the way the paint pools in different areas around the embossing.
I cut the panel and added it on a tilt to my card front for interest.
Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from a new set by Penny Black called Spinkles and Smiles to finish off my card.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful!! xx
ReplyDeleteThat is sooo pretty the way the resist leaves the patterns with the variations of blue, almost has a kaleidoscope effect!!
ReplyDeleteThe spritzer has helped to make a fab background to go with the embossed panel stamp.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing with us at ATSM. :)
No flowers, Karen? ;) This just shows how well the Brushos work with any stamp. I love the panels tipped, too.
