My favourite day of the week is here and I have a card to share.
I am addicted to using this new stamp from Penny Black called Trumpet Song.
I love using it to create a watercoloured look to my cards just using markers.
This morning I was inspired by the inspiration challenge at Splitcoast and the Schweitzer Linen site.
Here is the set that inspired my card:
I stamped the flowers at the top of my card so I could leave the bottom white space and give more of a feel of a vine. I coloured directly onto the stamp with Memento markers then sprayed with water and stamped. I love the way the colours blend together.
I stamped the sentiment from the Penny Black set called Sprinkles and Smiles with black Memento ink.
My card still needed something more so I added scoring lines to add interest and to help add balance to the overall design.
Adding my card to these challenges:
Seize the Birthday- ANYTHING GOES
Simon Says- ANYTHING GOES
Addicted to CAS- ANYTHING GOES
Use Your Stuff- FLOWERS
Happy Little Stampers- MAY SKETCH
Hope you have a super weekend and I SO! appreciate you coming by to take a look.
Supplies: stamps- Penny Black/ Memento markers/ Memento bl ink/ Scor-Pal
