Morning.
With Father's Day right around the corner, I wanted to get a card made for my hubby.
Playtime is so fun especially when my Brushos are involved.
This card all came about after I created the blue background. I had a piece of drywall tape still sitting on my work space from the card I made the other day. I laid it onto my paper, sprinkled blue Brushos over the top, sprayed with water to activate the paint crystals, then removed the tape to reveal this lovely bkg.
It reminded me of water, netting and the beach, so my card was born.
I stamped the lighthouse scene and fussy cut it out and then glued that over my blue background.
Framed it all up and done.
I love it! Simple, yet has good visual impact.

ReplyDeleteI love this. I am working on dad day cards too, but have to be sneaky when making one for my hubby. I sure like this one you did though. It would work up fairly easy. I might have to figure out an easy but still creative card design for his. So far I am working on sons and son-in-laws' cards.
