Watercolour Beauties- The Flower Challenge

Good Morning.
It's time for another card for

Our theme this month is
This month we are casing a gorgeous card made by Therese Calvird.

I decided to make a very clean and simple card by using the French Marigold flower stamp from STAMPlorations.
First, I stamped the flower onto scrap paper and fussy cut it out to use as my mask.
I place the flower stamp into my Misti and stamped it into the corner with Versamark ink, sprinkled on white embossing powder and heat set.  I masked the flower and repeated that process for the second one.
Using my Zigs, I watercoloured the flowers then stamped the sentiment from Penny Black called
Growing Free (I think it's retired) with Archival black ink.

  22. Hello Karen: I absolutely love your card, there is something about white heat embossing a flower image and then water color it that looks simply spectacular.
    The color blue is amazing and the sentiment beautiful.
