Tic Tac Toe- The Flower Challenge

Good Morning.
Today is the day for a new theme at

So fun this month as we are playing Tic Tac Toe!

My tic tac toe is a diagonal row down....sentiment, watercolour, white.

I began by stamping the flowers called Flora Bella twice onto my heavy white cardstock; once at the top and once on the bottom using my Misti.
Next, I pressed my Distress ink pads onto my non-stick craft sheet and picked up the colour with a wet paintbrush being very careful not to get the ink onto the flower petals, leaving them white.
I added layers of colour, blending them as I went along.
When dry, using a fine line black marker, I added some small dots to fill in some of the blank spaces.

While that dried, I stamped my sentiment with Versamark ink onto black cardstock, then white heat embossed it.  I added it using pop dots onto my card front.

That's it.  Very simple, clean looking card.
Thanks so very much for coming by and taking a look.
I hope you will come and play along with us this month.

  4. Beautiful Clean, Crisp monochromatic design, my friend! I love your open flower images and how you kept them white with the pretty orange watercolored background. I am impressed..you did not get a drop of ink inside your flowers:-) Your little black dots add a wonderful touch. Perfect placement of your sentiment too. TFS, Karen. Hugs
