Live Big

Hello and so happy you stopped by.
I'm trying out a new-to-me technique called
Alcohol Marker Marbling
(the link takes you to Splitcoast Stampers)

This is a very simple technique using alcohol based markers like Copics.
Here is what I did to create my card.

I took a plastic sandwich bag and coloured onto it with my Copic markers in purple and blues.
I then sprayed it with a good amount of rubbing alcohol and then dabbed my photo paper into the wet ink.  I was left with a lovely, unique looking bkg.
The piece dried very quickly, so I placed it into my Misti and stamped the thistles and the sentiment.
Pretty simple CAS card.

Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.
Have a great weekend.

Adding my card to these challenges:
A Bit More Time to Craft- ANYTHING GOES
The Creative Crafters- ANTHING GOES
Creates and Makes- ANYTHING GOES

Supplies
Stamps- Nature Flowers (Art Journey)= Live, Laugh (Rubberneckers)
Inks- Archival Black (Ranger)
Paper- Canon Photo
Accessories and Tools- Misti= Copic Markers= Rubbing Alcohol= plastic sandwich bag

  3. Sounds like a great simple way to do an interesting background. And a good way to use those Copic markers I rarely use! Love your colours and the thistle stamps.
