Hello and Welcome.
It's time for another card for the
I have the pleasure of hosting the challenge this month with the theme I chose.
I thought it would be fun to add some cards for a child to our stash. I hope you get a chance to check out the happy, inspiring gallery and what our DT's have created.
We also welcome our Guest this month, Bobby from Bits and Pieces.
So onto my card details.
I began with a plain white piece of cardstock. I rubbed some Worn Lipstick and some Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide inks onto my non-stick craft sheet, sprayed with water and slapped my paper into the wet ink. My friend Loll Thompson has a great video showing how to do this technique here.
I took another piece of heavy white cardstock and die-cut the Diamond Cut from it and glued that over the inky background. I stamped the bunny and the banner from the PB Special Friend set with more of the Picked Raspberry, fussy cut them out and then pop dotted them over the inked bkg. The finishing touch was the little white pom-pom I glued onto the rabbit's tail.
Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.
