Hello and Welcome
A very clean and simple card today depicting Summer and the happy smiles it brings.
I think we all are so happy to see the sunshine and warmer temperatures arriving.
So onto my card...just a few simple steps.
I began by taking a sheet a acetate and rubbing some Peacock Feathers DOX inks onto it. I gave it a spray of water and pressed it onto my paper, trying to stay just to the side where I knew I wanted to stamp the girl image. I repeated that process using Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch DOX ink. I tried to depict the sense of warm summer breezes blowing.
When it was totally dry, I placed the piece into my Misti and stamped the girl image and clear heat embossed it to make it pop against the inky bkg. I stamped the sentiment and finished it off by mounting it onto a piece of blue matching cardstock then onto a plain white card base.
That's it. Simple card with a happy vibe.
Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.
