It's a Celebration

Happy Saturday!
Glad to have a long weekend here and some time to play.

This is a simple card I made using Yupo paper and some Ranger Alcohol inks.
I have such fun when I play with those inks and when you add some Blending Solution or Rubbing Alcohol, the colours move and create such interest as they blend.

So, I grabbed a piece of Yupo and cut it down and dropped different colours of Alcohol inks over the paper.  I used a straw to blow a bit and splattered on some Blending Solution.  It dries quickly, so you do have to work sort of fast.
I set that aside to dry and got out my Cuttlebug to do some die-cutting.
The flower die is very pretty and I thought it would work well over the inked background.  I don't know who makes it as I just bought it at a garage sale and it was just packaged in a bag.  If I find out, I will come back and add it in.
I die-cut the 'Celebrate' from MFT 3 times and glued them together for stability.
When I placed the sentiment against the background, it looked a bit lost so I decided to back it with some Vellum.  I laid down the die on the Vellum, traced around the outside edge and then fussy cut it out.  I then glued the word right over the vellum and it was such a great improvement as you could see it better.
I glued the flowers over the AI background, then the sentiment and mounted it all onto a plain white card base.

Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.
