Joy Wreath

Hello and Welcome.
Today, I created a very simple CAS card using a new stamp from the set called Trendy Trimmings by Penny Black.  There are a few sweet images in that set for the holidays.

I began by creating my plaid background using some Copic markers.  After watching a video by Ardyth Percy, I felt brave enough to try it out.  It is really simple and fun to do too!
I chose 2 colours of Copics and drew my lines until I had a plaid I liked.  The nice thing about this technique is that you can make the plaid look any way you want it to be.
Using one of the Stitched Circle dies, I die cut a circle in the center of my plaid background.
I stamped the heart wreath with some Versafine ink on a piece of heavy white cs, then coloured it in using the same colours that I had used for my plaid background.  I added some Nuvo drops then glued the plaid over the stamped image.
I pop dotted that panel onto a heavy white card base.

Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.

Adding my card to these challenges:
