See the Beauty

Hello and Welcome
Here is a quick, easy card I made the other day while playing with my Vicki Boutin acrylic paints....love the colours.

So, I took a piece of heavy white cardstock and squeezed a drop of pink, green and then blue.
Using the Vicki Boutin Art Wedge, I dragged the paint in a straight line across my paper.

(here is what the Art Wedge looks like)

(here are the paints I used)

When the paint was nice and dry, I placed the panel into my Misti and stamped the wildflower and the sentiment and clear heat embossed them.
I mounted the piece onto some matching green cardstock, then onto a heavy white card base.

Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.

  2. Love the way you got sort of a swirl on the bottom edge of the paint. That looks like a neat tool. Beautiful colour combination!

  13. LOVE the colours you've used to drag across your card stock, Karen. Makes a gorgeous background for your silhouette flowers and large sentiment. I have played with this a bit and it's tricky for me to get consistent streaks. I need lots of practice. :) xx
