Good Morning
As I have mentioned in some of my previous posts, I am really trying to use some of the panels I have created that were stuck away in my stash.
This is one I pulled out the other day and wanted to finish it up by making a card.
So onto my card details.
The background was created using the Messy Dot Grid stencil that I inked up with some Festive Berries Distress Oxide inks, sprayed with water and pressed onto my cardstock panel creating a monoprint.
As I looked at the panel, I decided to give it more interest, so I added some stenciling using the Simple Grid stencil and rubbed over that with some Broken China and some Peacock Feathers DOX ink.
I love these clock stamps by Tim Holtz, inked them with some Versafine ink and stamped them to the side of the panel. I placed the piece into my Misti and stamped the sentiment.
I mounted the piece onto some white cardstock, then a piece of red, then onto a heavy white card base.
Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.
