Hello and Welcome
Glad to have some time to play with this new-to-me die from Paper Rose called Daisy Circle.
The daisies are blooming in my garden right now, such a pretty flower. Simple white petals but they stand out so well in the garden.
I wanted to add a punch of colour too for fun, yet keep the daisies white, so I added lots of colours using the Stained Glass stencil from A Colorful Life Designs.
So here's what I did to create my card.
- I began by cutting a square piece of white cardstock 4 x 4 inches. I laid the Stained Glass stencil over my panel and inked it up with a variety of Distress Oxide colours randomly overlapping each other. It added such a fun pop of colour to an otherwise plain background.
- I die-cut the daisies from a piece of black cardstock, then again from a piece of white and set all the pieces aside.
- I glued the black framed daisies over the stenciled background, then glued the white flower petals back into place.
- Lastly, I glued that all onto a square card base that was 4 1/4 x 4 1/4.
Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.
