Flower Power

Morning.
Happy Valentine's Day.  

Meet today's card.  
I am being inspired by the challenge at Splitcoast Stampers.  We are being inspired by 100 Brilliant Color Combinations.  Here's the one that inspired my card:


I got out my MISTI and inked the flower from the Stampin Up set called Blooming with Kindness with Versamark ink and white heat embossed it onto my paper.
I then moved the flower slightly up and to the right...something that is easily done with the MISTI.
Next, I got out my Brushos, mixed some with a small amount of water and painted it onto my flower and stamped over the embossed flower.  Since the flower was slightly offset for the second stamping, the colours emerged around the resist of the embossing.
 I watered down the Brushos with even more water then watercoloured the bkg.
I stamped the sentiment from MFT set and added some black rhinestones to balance out the design.
