The Little Things

Finally had a chance to post this card.
I got a new stamp from Rubbernecker and just had to have some time to play around with it.  It is a two-step stamp; one being the outline and the other being the solid stamp.  There is great versatility with this kind of a stamp set as you can use them separately or together.

I began by masking my card front using Painter's Tape around the edges so when removed, I would have a nice, crisp white border.  I then got out my MISTI and placed the outline of the flower stamp inside first.  I inked it up using Brushos that were diluted with water and a paintbrush then stamped.
Next, I placed the solid flower stamp into my MISTI, inked with a bit of Brushos and stamped over the outline.  I then took a wet paintbrush and pulled some of the colours out and blended them together.
When the flowers were dry, I used some Salty Ocean Distress ink, sponged the edges and then stamped the sentiment from STAMPlorations in the corner with black Memento ink.
