Thoughts of You

Good Morning
Meet this gorgeous new stencil from A Colorful Life Designs simply called:

So, here's what I did to create my card.
  • I placed a piece of white cardstock onto my Make Art Station. Starting at the bottom corner, I placed the Hydrangea stencil down and inked it up with some Villainous Potion and some Wilted Violet Distress Oxide ink.
  • I moved the stencil up and over to the side and inked the flower head again.  I moved the stencil one more time and inked another flower in the top right hand corner.
  • I cleaned the stencil off and then I added the leaves and stems into some of the open white areas along the edges with some Rustic Wilderness DOX ink. I also added the flower centers with some Tumbled Glass DOX ink.
  • Next, I splattered the whole stenciled panel with my white Posca pen and set aside to dry.
  • When it was all dry, I glued it onto a piece of white cardstock, then a piece of purple and then onto a white A2 sized card base.
  • I cut a strip sentiment and glued it onto a piece of purple cardstock. I added that over the middle of my card to finish it off.

Here is the stencil I used:
Hydrangea

The colours are so bright and pretty for the three hydrangeas Karen and a perfect sentiment to finish. x

Ooh Villanous Potion - it sits on my desk daring me to use it and I always shy away but I love what you've done with it here - and those Tumbled Glass touches just break it up nicely. Maybe I'll be brave and give it a go. Thanks for sharing with us at ATSM
