A Little Birdie Told Me

hi there,
Here is a card I made a few weeks ago for a very special friend's birthday.  This card just reminds me of Spring.  I stamped the birdhouse and cut it out.  The grass was sponged with distress inks and I doodled in the grass lines.  You have to love it when a card turns out the way you saw it in your head.
Thanks for taking a look.
supplies:  stamp from the Old Island Stamp Company,  Distress inks, copics.

I'll agree....it is awesome when a card actually turns out exactly as you've envisioned it. This is so very cute. Did you doodle along the edge of the grass there or is it a stamp?

This is terrific! I love the doodle outline of the hill and your cutting out of the focal image. Nice!

Love this card - all that cutting - wow! Thanks for reminding me about doodling - I often forget that you don't have to stamp everything!!
