OLW150- Life's A Beach

Welcome to another week for the OLW Challenge (One Layer Wednesday).  This week the challenge is:
Life's A Beach- Anything beach or water inspired

Summer is here and I think we all think about how great it is to be at the beach.  My one layer card was made super quick and easy by stamping the bkg. from the Craft's Meow, first in blue then again in a sand colour.  I then stamped the pier and the birds from Gina K (love!), added the twine and done.

I really hope you get a chance to play along with us this week.  Here are the details:

OLW150 Rules

1.  Create a one layer card.  This is defined as a single layer of cardstock folded in half.  No other
     layers allowed.

2.  Create a card that depicts the beach or is water inspired.  Add a link to your card.  Remember to
keep embellishments to a minimum and NO ADDITIONAL LAYERS of cardstock.

3.  Post your card online and link it to the InLinkz button below.  If you link to your blog, please link to
the specific post, not your blogs main page.

4.  Have Fun!!  I am looking forward to seeing what you create.

Hi, Karen! I love your one layered card and after looking at more of your projects I love your style too! I love the pier stamp and the twine wrapped around at the top of the card. I need to play at OLW because I really struggle at one layered cards even though I love the look. And thank you for taking the time to visit my blog and leave your very kind comment. Have a great weekend!

Hi Karen, Your card encapsulates the idea of the beach brilliantly, I love the echoing of the deep blue in your bakers twine, clean and simple magic! x

To me this is the perfect example of clean and simple. I think it is time for me to play in One Layer Wednesday.
