Silhouette Garden

Happy Saturday!
The sun is shining and my part of the world is beginning to come alive with colour....finally.
Today's card is inspired by the challenge at Splitcoast from a Pinterest board called Timbres-Postage Stamps.  Wonderful array of beautiful postage stamps to be inspired by.
These are the ones that inspired my card:

Anyone who visits my blog knows that I am having such a fun time playing with Bister and now Brushos.  They are both a crystalized paint medium that you sprinkle onto your cardstock and spray with water.  They are so easy to use and I just love the explosion of colour created when you add the water.  Unique and different every time.
I created this piece by sprinkling green and blue Brushos onto my 90lb. watercolour paper then sprayed with water.  I stamped the flower garden from Memory Box on one area of the painted background with Stazon black ink and cut it out.  I mounted that onto a piece of black cardstock and was ready to pop dot it onto my card front but thought it looked sort of lost on it's own.  Since I still had the rest of the painted paper left, I added it behind the image for another pop of colour.

Adding my card to these challenges:

Seize the Birthday- MAKE YOUR OWN BACKGROUND

Simon Says- CLEAN and SIMPLE

Addicted to Stamps- ANYTHING GOES

Virginia's View- LAYERS and DIMENSION

Sister Act- ANYTHING GOES

Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.  I appreciate you!

Supplies:  stamp- Memory Box/ Brusho/ mini mister/ Stazon ink/ pop dots

I absolutely love this. I hope I can find more time to get inky again soon. You are really mastering the use of those Brushos as well.

I'm glad you added the rest of the paper around the flowers, Karen. It really makes the stamped panel stand out. I love that the color shows through the tiny flowers. So fabulous!

This is gorgeous, I love the blue/yellow/green combo with the black. Such a lovely effect, I've only used my brushos once, really must have another play with them when I feel like getting in a mess! lol Thanks for sharing at ATSM this week, Anita x

This is very nice, I love that the colors are random and not like each flower colored in. It makes it more like a field of wild flowers would be!
