Windswept

Good Morning!
So happy you have come for a visit today.

As most of you already know, I enjoy playing around with inks to see what I can come up with.
I made this piece using a piece of Yupo paper and applied Alcohol inks from Ranger and Pinata.
When using the Yupo, you never know what kind of a look you will get.
I made another landscape card using the same technique a few weeks ago.

I began with a piece of Yupo and applied the Alcohol ink in shades of blues and greens across the paper.  I added some Ranger Blending Solution and moved the inks around using the edge of an old credit card.  That helped to blend the colours together and got the inks to move.
I set that aside to dry.
I placed the Silhouette Pine Trees from Flonz Stamps into my MISTI, inked with Archival ink and stamped.  I repeated to get a darker impression but still had to add a bit of black with a Sharpie marker to areas that I wanted to appear darker.
I die-cut the frame using the Rectangle Peek a Boo Window from MFT and placed it over the image.
Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from Daisy Bucket using my Misti again.

Adding my card to these challenges:

Simon Says Wed- ANYTHING GOES

Alphabet Challenge- 'Y' YOU CHOOSE
('L' Landscape)

Have a great weekend and thanks again for taking a look.

Supplies:  stamps- Flonz, Daisy Bucket/ die- MFT/ MISTI/ ink- Archival/ Cuttlebug/ Yupo paper/ Alcohol inks/ old credit card/ Ranger BlendingSolution

Another gorgeous Yupo scene Karen and I adore the silhouette trees and nice large sentiment which go perfectly. That frame is on my list too as it really brings the eye in with that double long and short stitched edge. x

Wow - that Yupo/alcohol ink background is amazing. I haven't explored the Yupo paper yet... another thing for the wishlist. Thanks for your visit - much appreciated.

You've mastered the landscape designs using yupo, Karen. This is really beautiful. Thanks for the tip about using a credit card to move the ink. I will give that a try! xx
