Today's card is a simple CAS with lots of texture.
So meet one of the new stencils for January from A Colorful Life Designs called
So, here's what I did to create my card.
- I began by taking a piece of white cardstock and placed it into an Embossing Folder and ran it through my machine.
- Next, I took the embossed cardstock, placed it onto my Make Art Station and placed the Arabesque Tile stencil over that. I inked it with some Lumberjack Plaid Distress Oxide ink.
- Next, using a sanding block, I gently sanded off some of the raised areas to add interest.
- I die cut the 'Hello' letters with some red cardstock and then again 3 more times with some white cardstock and glued them all together as I wanted a raised sentiment.
- I splattered the sentiment using my white Posca pen and set aside to dry.
- I glued my stenciled card front onto a piece of red cardstock, then onto an A2 sized white card base.
- I glued the sentiment across the card front to finish it off.

This card design has such impact! The red/white colour combo together with the stencilled embossed background and big bold sentiment is fabulous.
