It's the long weekend and I can't believe where the summer has gone!! How can that be?
Here is the card I am showing today...getting ready for the Fall to arrive and school to start on Tuesday. I used the new Foliage Fancy from Penny Black for the leaves. They are really neat because there is a solid and and an outline for each leaf in the set. That gives you so many options in using that set. For my card what I did was stamp the outlines first randomly around the outside of my card and then embossed with white powder. Then I took the solid image and applied various colours of Distress inks and sprayed with water before stamping on top of the outline. I was very pleased with the colour variations I was able to achieve. I added the lines and the Friendship sentiment to finish it off.
I am adding this to the Movement challenge at Moxie Fab.

Thanks for the beautiful card. I've had this set for a few years and not used it. You have inspired me to get it out this year and experiment with it. Thanks.
