Masked Butterfly

Here is Monday's clean and simple card as I am off this week and have time to play along with the CAS Challenge at Splitcoast.  I don't own a butterfly die so I hand-cut a mask to use for my card.  I stamped the bkg. from WPlus9 sponged on some green Memento ink.  I then added the flowers from Purple Onion and the sentiment (love) for a quick and easy card.

Thanks for taking a peek.

Supplies:  stamps; WPlus 9, Purple Onion, Inkadinkadoo/ Memento gr & bl

Gorgeous card! Love the green background, it really shows off the silhouette flowers.

You make this butterfly card so expertly (without the diecut)! I love the masking and silhouette stamping! You are more than welcome to borrow mine (the latest PB butterfly diecut!!). Let me know :)

I love cards made with the masked design and then stamping over it. You didn't need a die for the butterfly - yours is great!

It would have made a great video. It's very interesting (and beautiful)to me because I can't visualize how you did it. Like, you sponged the green on, then how did the beautiful background get there? I guess I just don't get it because I'm tired. That's my excuse. It's so gorgeous. My favorite quote and black and lime green? Beautiful.
