It's Saturday and time for another Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoast. When I saw the cake from Charm City Cakes below, I was off to make a card.
The trees are from a large bkg. stamp that I stamped, embossed with clear then cut down to make room for the sentiment from Penny Black. The little bird was stamped, coloured with Copics then cut out to be pop dot mounted. I think he looks striking against the black bkg.
I am also adding this card to the CASology (Black) Challenge, the Simon Says (Anything Goes) Challenge and the CAS-ual Fridays (Embossed) Challenge.

Such a great tip - I always see those big stamps as, well, big stamps, and I don't think to cut them down, but you've made a very effective CAS card with this one! Love the pops of red! Thanks so much for joining us at CASology this week!
