Abstract

Just me and my embossing folders and Distress inks here today playing again.  I am looking at my embossing folders in a new way these days!  This was an easy one.  Inked the embossing folder with Distress inks- Salty Ocean, Mowed Lawn, Peeled Paint; sprayed with water and pressed my paper into the wet ink.  I had masked the sides so the image was contained to the middle area.  When dry, I added the sentiment and doodled a border.  Mounted it onto the blue then pop dotted that onto the white card front.

Adding my card to these challenges:

CAS-ual Fridays- THREES (see the dots)

Less is More- COLOUR CHALLENGE

Simon Says- ANYTHING GOES

Challenges 4 Everybody-ANYTHING GOES

Hope you weekend is going well. Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.

Supplies:  stamp- Michaels dollar bin/ Distress inks/ Provo eb folder/ pop dots/ enamel dot/ blackline pen

I've never seen that embossing folder but it sure does make a great card. I have to thank you again for highlighting this technique. I'm having a ball using my folders this way.
