Morning.
Thanks so much to everyone who left me a comment yesterday about the woodgrain tutorial. A big thanks and welcome to my new followers as well....very appreciated!
I'm so happy that some of you have already tried it!! That makes me happy.
Today, I have another card I made using the woodgrain/ barnboard background for my card front.
(If you missed how to create this simple, easy background see yesterday's post.)
With Valentine's Day approaching, I got out some of the new products from Penny Black to make a fun little tag for the front of my card keeping it very clean and simple.
I began by die-cutting that heart and arrow from the set called Sweet Heart.
I didn't have a small enough tag die, so I hand cut one, glued on the heart and stamped the sentiment from the new set called Happy Hearts underneath.
I am adding my card to these challenges:
The Male Room- ANYTHING GOES
The Card Concpt- WARM HEART
cas
Addicted to Stamps- ANYTHING GOES
Tag You're It- INSPIRATION TAG
My Time to Craft- TAG IT
Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.
Supplies: stamps and die- Penny Black/ Elmer's glue/ ScorPal/ Cuttlebug

Another beautiful card with amazing BG!
Oh, I love this one too! The background is awesome in the blue too! Soon I have to try this. I think that is idea for the masculine cards.
No blue was used on this card...amazing how the colours blended.
I love how you create these backgrounds. I will be checking out your video. This works so well with this baby tag and the red heart just pops. Thanks for joining TCC
Karen, this one is gorgeous too! Would you share which distress inks you used on this panel? I can't wait to try this out, but don't think I have any liquid glue in the house!
Fantastic background, perfect with this sweet tag, Cathy x
So adorable, and I love that wood grain background! I haven't had the time to study your wood grain tutorial but I saved it and am going to give it a try when I have time, tfs.
Another fantastic background Karen! Love the weathered wood look with the grays and blacks. The sweet tag with the bit of red just pops off that background. Adorable!! xx
