Festive Berries

 Morning.
Meet today's card.
Not very traditional but I think still looks Christmasy.

Playing with my Penny Black stamps today.
I began by masking off the edges of my card front with Painter's Tape then using my MISTI, I stamped the Berry Merry Christmas image that I coloured using my Memento markers.  I always start by colouring the lightest shade onto my stamp, spray with water, stamp and repeat that process using darker shades of colour.
I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas Cheer set with Memento black then went back in and watercolored the background using Broken China Distress Stain.
To add more interest, I added a bit of stenciling using drywall tape and splattered with white acrylic paint to give a snowy effect.

Adding my card to these challenges:

Simon Says- ANYTHING GOES

Crafty Creations- CHRISTMAS

Cardz 4 Guyz- SOMETHING BEGINNING WITH 'T'
(twig)

City Crafter- GARDEN BLISS

Holly Jolly Christmas- ANYTHING CHRISTMAS

Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.
Have a great weekend.

Supplies:  stamps- PB, The Darkroom Door/ ink- Memento/ Memento markers/ Distress stain/ Painters Tape/ wh acrylic paint/ drywall tape/ paint brush/ MISTI

Great use of that berry stamp, Karen. It's a lovely Christmas card, even if in non-traditional colours - and we need some of those for sure.
