Blessed

Good Morning.

We are half way through the month and it's time for another card for
Our challenge this month is to use Blue and Yellow.

I began by creating my blue and yellow background using the Embossing Folder Stamping Technique.
It is a very simple technique and a great way to get more mileage from your embossing folders.
I inked the inside of my EB folder with Squeezed Lemonade and Salty Ocean Distress inks, sprayed with water then pressed onto my paper.
Using my Misti, I stamped the wildflowers from a set by Tim Holtz with black Memento ink.
I stamped a faint text in the background using the Script stamp from Penny Black to add some extra interest. The sentiment is also from a PB set called Friendship.

Adding my card to these challenges:

Craft Stamper Magazine- ANYTHING GOES

The Color Throwdown- BLUE, YELLOW, BLACK

City Crafter- BLUE

I hope you will come and join us at The Flower Challenge.
Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.

Supplies: stamps- TH, Penny Black/ ink- Memento, Distress/ EB folder- SU/ Mini Mister/ MISTI

This is beautiful!! I love that you chose to do the background blue and yellow and not the flowers. They look fantastic in black silhouette.

Great effect with the embossing folder technique and the prettiest of colours. The misti comes in handy with the black silhouette stamping, doesn't it? Love the extra layering with the script stamping in the background. Gorgeous card x

Always saying "a Stunning card" sounds boring to you I expect, but all your cards deserve the description.
