Footprints on Our Hearts

Good Morning.
Had some time to play and this is what I came up with.

I began by placing the flower stamp into my Misti, coloured directly onto the rubber with Tombow markers, sprayed with water and stamped.  I cleaned off my stamp then inked it up with London Fog Memento ink and stamped across the bottom of my card front to fill in the empty areas.
Next, I stamped the sentiment with black Memento then heat embossed it with clear powder.  I did that so when I sponged on the blue, it would resist the ink.
I inked in the whole background using Distress inks and a blending tool then sprinkled water over the whole piece to lift some of the colour.
To add additional interest, I stamped the squares around the edges and white heat embossed them.

Adding my card to these challenges:

Have a great week and thanks so much for coming to take a look.
