Background Stamping- The Flower Challenge

Good Morning

Time for another card for

This is a great challenge to use stamps to create your own background paper.

I began by placing my flower stamp from the Blooming with Kindness set inside my Misti, inked with black Memento ink and stamped them randomly over my card front.
Instead of colouring the flowers, I decided to colour in the background so the lovely details and features of the flowers would really show up.
I splattered the bkg with some diluted ink then cut the panel to add interest.
The sentiment was stamped and then I punched it into a circle.  I pop dotted it and added the enamel button.

Thanks so much for coming to visit.
Hope you get a chance to play along with us.

Adding my card to these challenges:

I love how you stamped your background all over with your flower and then colored the entire background. Your cutting your background was a wonderful touch my friend:-) Your stamped and punched sentiment with an enamel button was the perfect final touch. All so well balanced. TFS Karen. Hugs

Great idea to colour the background more than the flowers - a very nice variation! Love the layout too with the split panel.

What a lovely background effect - like the way you've cut it and the placement of the sentiment.

I like how you did up this huge stamp--the coloring, the cutting out of a panel. It all just works so well to show off those flowers.

This flower works well as a background pattern Karen and the soft blue works well and doesn't overwhelm it. I love the way you have cut the panel and then placed the circular sentiment over it. A beautiful card! x

This is just fabulous! I actually think this would look lovely as a feature wall, so time to paint one white and get stamping - might take a while but the results would be worth it. It's gorgeous against that aqua. xx
