Welcome
Meet one of the April newly released stencil from A Colorful Life Designs called
It has a great look and it fun to create with.
So, here's what I did to create my card.
- I cut a piece of white cardstock and placed the Broken Lines stencil over that. I inked the whole panel with some Ripe Persimmon Distress Oxide ink.
- I wiped the stencil off, turned it around and then inked again with some Picked Raspberry DOX ink.
- Next, I used the die called Trapezoidal Strip and cut the panel into pieces. I glued all the pieces back into place onto another piece of white cardstock, leaving some space between the strips but matching up the pattern.
- I glue the panel onto a white A2 sized card base and set aside.
- I took some time to look through my cast off stash and found this Alcohol inked piece so I used that to die cut the sentiment.
- I used some foam tape to pop the sentiment up over the top of the card.
Here is the stencil I used:

Such pretty bright colours and I love the broken lines stencilling, and the geometric die used to cut the card into pieces looks great and so different, and finished with a lovely large die cut sentiment, and a wonderful toning alcohol piece from your stash to cut it. x
