Welcome
Meet the new for April stencil from A Colorful Life Designs called
So, here's what I did to create my card.
- When I was at the Dollar Store, I picked up some Rainbow Scratch paper, so that was my starting point.
- I placed the So Many Bubbles stencil down and then placed the Rainbow paper over that and secured it well.
- Using the side of a popsicle stick, I rubbed over the whole piece until the pattern of the stencil was transferred onto the paper.
- I repeated that process with another piece of the paper, this time using the Broken Lines stencil. I die cut the sentiment from that piece and glued it onto a piece of black cardstock.
- I glued my card front panel onto a piece of yellow cardstock and then onto an A2 sized card base.
- I used some foam tape to pop up the sentiment over the background.
Here are the stencils I used:

Karen, what a creative approach to our The Male Room "geometrics" challenge! I never knew Dollar Tree had this kind of scratch-off paper!! Did you have to seal it after you created it so that the black wouldn't scratch off while handling? Thank you so much for sharing your card and your novel approach creating the geometric patterns!!! -Donna
A really colourful result Karen, and such an innovative way to use the stencil

This technique with the scratch paper works brilliantly Karen, and the bright colours really pop and these two stencils look great together. x
A fabulous result Karen, I love the stencils together, so much "pop" in this card. I love it. With both my hats on I'll say -

I haven't seen scratch paper in years and I guess that you made the card with it before I read your blog post. How clever you are using a stencil over it! Very colorful and unique. Thank you for joining us at Time Out!
