Snow Day

Good Morning
Here is a snowy holiday card I made using two of the new for November stencils from A Colorful Life Designs called:

So, here's what I did to create my card.
  • I cut a piece of white cardstock and placed it into my Misti.  I randomly stamped the snowflakes onto my card front with the largest ones stamped into the corners using some Broken China and some Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide ink.
  • Next, I placed the Star Halo stencil over the snowflakes and inked again with the same colours as mentioned above.
  • I used the ink left on my brush to rub along the edges of my card and set that aside.
  • I took another piece of white cardstock and placed the Little Snowfall stencil over that and inked again with the same colours.  I then used that to die cut the letters for my sentiment.
  • I glued the sentiment over a blue and black die cut shadow of the sentiment.
  • I glued my stenciled card front onto a piece of white cardstock and then onto a piece of black and then onto an A2 sized card base.
  • I used some foam tape to pop the sentiment over the background and added some blue gems to the snowflake centers to finish my card off.

Here are the stencils I used:
