Good Morning and Welcome
Today's card features a lovely new stencil from A Colorful Life Designs called:
I did some masking and changed it up a bit to get this bright and happy design. Stencils are so great and versatile for creating your own designs.
So, here's what I did to create my card.
- I began by masking around the large coneflower with some low tack tape and then I placed the Coneflower stencil into the bottom corner of my white cardstock and inked it up with some Ripe Persimmon and some Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink.
- I moved the stencil to the top right hand corner and repeated that process.
- I cleaned the stencil off and masked around the flowers to add the leaves around the flowers. I inked that up with some Cracked Pistachio and Rustic Wilderness DOX ink.
- I placed the stenciled card front into my Misti and stamped the sentiment along the side.
- I glued the panel onto a piece of white cardstock, then onto a piece of dark pink and then onto a white A2 sized card base.
- To finish my card off, I added 3 black gems just under the sentiment.
Here is the stencil I used:
