I love this sweet image and wanted to use it to make a card.
Meet the new for June stencil from A Colorful Life Designs called:
So, here's what I did to create my card.
- I cut a piece of white cardstock and got out the Patterned Noise stencil. I laid the stencil flat over a paper towel and rubbed Ripe Persimmon and some Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink directly over the whole back of the stencil.
- Next, I sprayed with some Rubbing Alcohol and then pressed the stencil onto white cardstock. I lifted the stencil off and let the piece dry.
- I placed the stenciled panel into my Misti to stamp the sweet image and the sentiment along the bottom.
- Using a wet paintbrush, I added some of the Ripe Persimmon DOX ink to the clothes.
- I glued the finished card front onto a piece of white cardstock, then black and then onto a white A2 sized card base.
- To finish my card off, I added 2 black gems on either side of the sentiment.
