Today's card has a fun, festive look to it.
I used the newly released stencil from A Colorful Life Designs called
So, here's what I did to create my card.
- I placed a piece of white cardstock onto my Make Art Station and positioned the Mixed Shapes Stencil over that. I inked with some Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink.
- I lifted the stencil, wiped it off and placed it back down, then inked again with some Wilted Violet DOX ink.
- I repeated that whole process one more time, inking finally with some Uncharted Mariner DOX ink. By layering the colours, it made for such a fun background.
- I splattered with my white Posca pen and set aside to dry.
- I die cut the flower and added some Peacock Feathers ink to the petals and die cut the sentiment with some purple cardstock and glues it to the white shadow die.
- I glued the stenciled panel onto a piece of white cardstock, then onto a piece of dark purple and then onto an A2 sized card base.
- I added the sentiment to the center with some foam tape and the flower right beside it.
