Welcome and hello.
Today, I am playing with some new stamps from Penny Black..always fun to play with new toys.
I love to watercolour so my first thought when I saw this Effulgent flower stamp was to give it a look of watercolour. I did that by placing the flower in my Misti, coloured it with my Tombow markers, sprayed with water and stamped. I repeated that process with a darker shade of blue to give the flower more interest.
To help balance out my card front, I stamped the Unfolding flower in the bottom left corner by using the same process as mentioned above.
Next, I sponged the edges with Distress ink and added some stenciling using drywall tape.
* Drywall tape is always sitting on my desk and I love using it to give more depth and interest to my backgrounds or just to perk up the look of a card. *
I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Wishes sentiment set using my Misti again and Memento ink.
Finally, I added some Nuvo drops; sorry it is hard to see those in the photo.
Adding my card to these challenges:

Every time I see one of your cards I am inspired. This is just as wonderful as all the others. Just an amazingly beautiful card.
Karen, you are the queen of blue and white (my favourite colour combination, though strangely, I don't use it in my cards as much as you do). Love the addition of the dry wall tape stenciling.
Stunning card, love the colours, and the font, great background too.
Faith.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful card with us all at TioT's this time.

You have so many beautiful sentiment stamps Karen and the combination of the two different PB stamps is just perfect, also the dry wall tape as a stencil in the background adds lots of interest. x
These flowers go together perfectly, Karen! Love all that blue, the extra eimension of the stenciling and the wonderful sentiment!
Gorgeous as always, Karen. Lovely card using your new stamp. I can see that being added to my wish list. :) Love the sponging around the edges and stenciling with drywall tape to add interest, along with visual dimension and texture. xx

Wow this is a stunner. Love how you've used the tow different flower stamps together...they look fabulous x
You always make it sound so easy to create the masterpieces you create. But I know better, the flowers, the loose washes and background multi layered stamping or blending all is perfection. I never tire of looking.
Your cards are beautiful and nobody does these beautiful blues better than you. Gorgeous!
What a fabulous greeting to go with a fabulous card.
