Blue Skies- The Flower Challenge

Good Morning.
Time for a new theme at

Add acetate or vellum to your flower card.

I began creating my card by die cutting the Delphinium Circle onto my heavy white cardstock and stamped on my sentiment.
Next, I got out a piece of acetate and cut it to size to fit behind my flower circular window.  I applied alcohol inks and blended them using Ranger's Blending Solution.  It left me with a rich, blue background for my flowers.
Since I am using this as a sympathy card, I wanted to keep it very simple so glued the finished piece onto white cardstock.

I hope you will come and play along with us.
Thanks for the visit.

Karen, I'm in love with that gorgeous background, I've seen the videos on how to work with alcohol inks on acetate but it intimidates me a lot.
I'm in awe at the amazing background colors you achieved, so bright yet very soothing and beautiful for a Sympathy card.
Fabulous card, my dear.
XO
Maria.
