Smile Day

Happy Sunday.
We are celebrating Canada Day and a long weekend here so I am having a 'smile day'.

HAPPY CANADA DAY TO ALL MY CANADIAN FRIENDS!!

Very simple card to create today.
I began by masking the edges of my white cardstock with some Post-It tape.
Next, I rubbed some Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink over my Sweet Peas stencil, sprayed with water and pressed onto my paper to create a stencil monoprint.  I dried that thoroughly then using my Misti, I stamped the Wildflowers using some Blueprint Sketch DOX and added the sentiment at the top.
I put the piece onto my ScorPal and scored around the inked piece creating a frame effect.

Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.

Adding my card to these challenges:
Simon Says- ANYTHING GOES
Just Us Girls- WILD CARD/ANYTHING GOES
A Vintage Journey- STENCIL IT

Supplies
Stamps- Wildflower (Magenta)= Smile (Daisy Bucket)
Inks- Peacock Feathers, Blueprint Sketch DOX (TH)
Paper- heavy weight (local store)
Accessories and Tools- Misti= ScorPal= Sweet Peas stencil (TCW)= Mister (TH)= Post It Tape

Two of my favourite colours on this card, and using the inked stencil technique which you do so well Karen. I love the way you have put embossed lines around it which finishes it perfectly. A beautiful card! x

Love the way you scored around the edges of the image to create a frame! Beautiful shades of blue, and a great look with the stamped image over the stencil monoprint.
