Splash Watercolour- CAS Watercolour Challenge

Hello and Welcome.

Just a fun card today for the

This month we are playing with a simple technique called Splash Watercolour.  I have done many backgrounds using this technique.  There is a video link on the main challenge blog.
This month, we welcome our guest Marcia aka Marcia K Designs.

So onto my card design.
I pressed Picked Raspberry, Blueprint Sketch and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide ink onto my non-stick craft mat, sprayed with water and 'slapped' my piece of white cardstock into the wet ink. I dried between inks so I wouldn't end up with a muddy mess.  The inks layer over each other so nicely.
When I was happy with the coverage, I die cut the piece using a Wonky Stitched border.  Next, I  placed the piece inside my Misti to stamp the sentiment and the flowers with black Memento ink.
After stamping the flowers, I drew around the flowers with a white Signo pen to brighten the whole piece up.  I simply mounted it onto another piece of white cardstock keeping it clean and simple.

Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.  I hope you will come and play along with us.

Such an effective and unique technique and the colours are so pretty. The stamp is gorgeous and love how you've used the white pen to hi-light. Wonderful sentiment too x.

Gorgeous Yummy Summer colors for your beautiful Splash background, Karen. What a clever idea to draw a white outline with your signo pen around your flowers. Really made them pop! LOVE your wonderful and so true sentiment too. TFS my friend. Hugs..
