Faux Watercolouring

Good Morning.
Meet today's card.
Super simple one and a great way to get more mileage from your embossing folders.

I love the look of watercolouring and this is such a simple technique that helps to achieve that look especially when using my Distress Oxide inks.
I began by inking up my Darice Embossing folder called Henna, sprayed with a generous amount of water and pressed a piece of heavy weight cardstock into the wet ink.  I rubbed gently then removed my paper to reveal the print.  Love how all the colours blended together.
I dried it with my heat gun then placed the piece inside my Misti to stamp the sentiment with black ink.  I clear embossed the sentiment as well, to help make it pop against the colourful bkg.
I mounted it simply on a piece of coloured cardstock and then added one black gem to the center of one of the flowers.

Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.
