Celebrating You!

Happy Saturday!
...and a long weekend too.
I'm hoping to get some gardening and some stamping time in.

Here is a super fast card I created using my Distress Oxide inks and some products from Penny Black.  I think it took me about 10 minutes to do this one and I just love this colour combination.

For my card base, I used a piece of acetate inked with DOX inks.
To see my tutorial on this go here:

I die-cut the leaf and when the ink was dry, I placed the card base into my Misti and stamped the sentiment then glued on the leaf.

Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.
Have a great weekend.

Adding my card to these challenges:
Alphabet Challenge- 'L' LEAVES

Stamp- Smile Today (Penny Black)
Inks- Distress Oxides- Salty Ocean, Peacock Feathers, Wilted Violet (TH)= Tuxedo
Black Memento
Paper- heavy white (Scribes Nook)
Accessories and Tools- Cuttlebug= leaf die (PB- I think it may have been discontinued),
Misti (My Sweet Petunia)

Gorgeous acrylic block stamped background, Karen. I love the simplicity of your die cut leaf and of course, love your sentiment too. You always have the most wonderful and thoughtful sentiments, my friend.

Hope you get in some playing time this long weekend. Hugs...
