Hello and Welcome.
This is today's card inspired by a piece of inky Yupo paper I made awhile ago.
So onto my card.
This piece has been in my stash for awhile. I like to do a bunch and put them away for future use.
I began with a piece of Yupo that I applied some Alcohol inks with Blending Solution to help move the inks around. I love watching the magic of the inks move. I did rub on some blue foil that stuck to the wet areas of the inks that added a bit of a shine. I cut the larger piece into a small panel and adhered it to a piece of white cardstock for stability.
Next, I die-cut the clovers with more white cardstock and glued them to the front of the inked panel.
Love how the white just pops against the inky bkg.
I took a piece of matching blue cardstock and ran it through my Cuttlebug in a plaid embossing folder to add some texture to the main panel.
Lastly, I pop dot mounted the AI piece over the embossed bkg then onto a plain white card base.
Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.

Beautifully designed card Karen, I love the background and the lovely die, Kate x
Gorgeous alcohol ink background, Karen. I love how you added the blue foil to the sticky thicker AI for shine. Your background really does make your white clover pop. I have not seen that eb folder before. Really beautiful texture for your background. TFS my friend. Hugs..Nancy
Love the colours of your AI panel ... gorgeous, and even more so with the little bits of blue foil. A real WOW! piece! Love the white frame and clover die-cuts ... really pop against all that colour. And your blue plaid background is fantastic. I really need to add dry embossing to my cards more. Fabulous design, my friend! xx
Great colors for your dies. Wonderful texture with the embossing too.
I love how the white clover looks on the blue background with a little pop of pink!
The pretty die cuts sure do pop against that beautiful alcohol ink background. The blue card stock and dry embossed plaid looks wonderful too x.
Great way to use that pretty snippet of AI background. Your embossed background is the perfect frame.
Beautiful shades of blue with lovely little bits of violet - and great use of the foil! A perfect background for the white clover.
Such a beautiful alcohol inked background to the white die cut clover Karen, and I love the dry embossed background in that complementary blue colour card. A really pretty card. x
