Good Morning and Welcome
Today's simple card came together so fast using this stencil called Fairway Ball from A Colorful Life Designs.
So here's what I did to create my card.
- I got out a piece of white cardstock and placed the Fairway Ball stencil along the top edge of the cardstock panel.
- Using some low tack tape, I masked along the outer edge of the stencil to keep a nice crisp, white background.
- Starting from the center of the stencil and moving outwards, I inked it up with some Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink.
- When I was happy with the inking, I moved the stencil down to the bottom and repeated the process mentioned above.
- When dry, I placed the inked panel into my Misti and stamped the sentiment over the stenciled areas.
- I glued the stenciled piece onto some pink cardstock, then onto an A2 size card base.
- Finally, I added 3 black gems just under the sentiment.
