Welcome
I do enjoy creating with snowflakes although I have to say, winter is not my favourite time of the year.
Meet the newly released stencil from A Colorful Life Designs called:
Here are the details.
- I placed the Baroque Swirl Snowflake onto a piece of white cardstock and then inked it up with some Distress Oxide inks in these colours: Blueprint Sketch and Peacock Feathers.
- I cleaned the stencil off and inked it up onto another piece of white cardstock using some Villainous Potion and some Wilted Violet DOX ink.
- Next, I took the stenciled pieces and cut them down into strips.
- I took another piece of white cardstock and using some foam tape, I popped the panels over it to create my card front. I matched the pattern as I added them.
- I spattered with my white Posca pen and set aside to dry.
- I stamped the sentiment with more of the Blueprint Sketch DOX ink and die cut it out.
- I glued my card front panel onto a piece of navy cardstock and then onto a white A2 sized card base.
- I used more foam tape to pop the sentiment over the background and then added 3 navy gems around it to finish off my card.
Here is the stencil I used:

Gorgeous! The stenciled snowflake is beautiful with such an intricate design. You blended the colors perfectly and the die cut sentiment looks great with the extra dimension. Thanks for sharing with A Cut Above's October Challenge.
